23 year old British actor Kit Harington became a star over night due to the success of the TV series Game of Thrones. In Game of Thrones, Kit played Jon Snow, the bastard son of Sean Bean’s character Ned Stark and the two are set to share the screen again in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. It will be Harington’s first attempt at starring in a major Hollywood movie but he took it all in his stride and claims that it is no different to TV work. Kit explained, “Game Of Thrones is so much like a movie there wasn’t a huge difference when it came to Silent Hill. It was filmed in 3D which makes a huge difference for the people behind the camera, but for me it’s just pretty much the same thing and doing what I do.” Kit Harington is one of the lucky few from the first season of Game of Thrones that was not killed off. He will be returning to reprise his role as Jon Snow when Game of Thrones returns to HBO next April. Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is currently in post production and is set to be released next year.

I did promise more Game Of Thrones stuff, especially after the general awesomeness of my interview with Kit Harington aka Jon Snow from the show. I was postponing Harington’s comments on Season 2 until after Comic Con in case there were any updates, but it doesn’t get much better than this. Anyway, here’s what he had to say on what GOT fans can expect come Season 2:
“The characters you invest and know will carry on, but they don’t get it much easier from here on. War’s coming, winter’s coming. You will invest in them just as much as you did in the first season, but it’s not going to be easy for you or them.”
I also asked him who he thought would win in a fight between Jon and Rob. His answer went something like this:
“Jon.”
MM: That was a pretty quick response, you sound very decided on that?
“They’re brothers, but Jon would definitely win.”
Interviewer: Will we see a love interest for Jon this season?
Kit:
Cheeky bastard xD
Old Kit Harington interview, from back in April. Most older fans have probably heard this one already, the one from Fearless Fred, but for newer fans who got into Game of Thrones recently you might enjoy it. Very weird listening to this after watching the show.
